Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company

As with the rest of the country, volunteer fire companies are in need of new members. Currently, all 3 South Brunswick Companies are looking for new members to join. Besides the camaraderie and knowledge gained, there are many incentives such as length of service award plans, college scholarships, life insurance coverage, etc. If you would like to be part of a great organization and give back to the Community, please contact your respective SB Fire Company mentioned in the article.

Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness to announce the passing of Chief Everett “James” McIntire (ret.). Jim was instrumental in the establishment of KPVFC being one of our Chartered Members with over 50 years of service. Having served many positions over his tenure, the knowledge and history Jim brought to our company cemented the foundation (literally) and help shape and mold the company we are today.

Mac, seeing the happiness on your face a couple weeks ago when we surprised you after our annual Santacade will be cemented in our minds forever. Thank you for all that you did. You will be deeply missed by all. Rest easy and We'll Take It From Here.

Please keep his family in your thoughts on this Christmas.

Today I must salute a man that passed away this day, he defined “hero”, not for facing what so many do in this current pandemic, but a man who served his country, rushed into burning buildings, and raised an awesome family with his lifetime warrior Beebs by his side. He was a simple, generous man who loved life & family, My father in law, Jimbo McIntire, RIP!

Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company is at The Home Depot (Monmouth Junction, NJ).

Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company

The partnership between Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company and the South Brunswick Home Depot goes back many years but towards the end of 2019, the partnership grew with the new store manager, Alexis Angelos. Since then, we have worked together on a number of initiatives such as Home Depot’s annual Fire Safety Workshop, took part in Home Depot’s "Doing More for Veterans" community service program which helped a local 92-year-old Kendall Park Veteran in fixing his house and more recently, the month-long Food Drive that will directly benefit the South Brunswick Social Services and our local residents. SB HD has helped not only KPFVC but other First Responders in providing PPE in the early days of Covid and continues to do a lot for South Brunswick.

Giving back to local communities is one of the core values at the Home Depot. Yesterday was another example how they fulfill their commitment. As part of their “Operation Surprise Program,” stores selected a community organization to give back to and this year, the South Brunswick Home Depot surprised Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company with a $1,000 check.

Alexis voiced that “KPVFC has been an amazing partner over the years and the store was grateful to be able to Give Back to them for all the services they do to keep our Community safe.”

“On behalf of Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company and the Community, we want to thank the South Brunswick Home Depot for their continuous support and generous donation, and we look forward to continuing working together to better Our Community” echoed KPVFC’s President Robert Cioffi.
