pAt around 0800 on Saturday August 28th the Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a fire in a residence at 12 Woodbine Road. Upon arrival there was heavy smoke coming from the second floor of the structure and at that time the Assistant Chief determined there was a fully evolved fire located in the second floor master bathroombedroom he immediately upgraded the box to a full first alarm assignment. Shortly after the arrival of the Assistant Chief the first responding apparatus arrived Engine 221 and made quick work of the fire. The fire was under control and contained within minutes of the first arriving engine which kept the structural damage to a minimum.
