pAt approximately 2310 hours on Friday October 15th the Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a chimney fire at 56 Kingsley Road. While in route it was upgraded to a confirmed working chimney fire. At that time the on-scene commander Chief Chris Perez called for a full first alarm assignment. A minute later the first arriving Engine E221 pulled up and stretched a 1 frac34 line through the front door. Minutes later the second arriving Engine E222 hit the hydrant and laid into Engine 221 to establish a water supply. After Engine 221rsquos crew exposed the fire from behind the chimney they made a quick knock down and kept it contained to the fire place area of the home. After extensive overhaul was performed by the Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Department to make sure the fire was completely extinguished all units packed up and cleared the scene. br nbspppSpecial thanks to the Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Department for help on scene Kingston Volunteer Fire Department for covering the township and Kendall Park First Aid and Rescue Squad for rehab.p
